Samuel Alexander Hernandez's Obituary
On January 9, 2022, Samuel Alexander Hernandez of Cedar Hill, Texas was called home to be with the Lord at the age of 37.
Samuel is survived by his mother Janie Ramona Garcia of Cedar Hill; father Domingo Macias Hernandez of Irving; brother Jesus “Antony” Perez of Katy; brother Domingo “Chip” Hernandez and his wife Ludivina of Irving; sister DeAnn Macias Hernandez of San Antonio; 7 nieces and nephews along with many extended relatives.
Samuel, the youngest of four children, was born on March 7, 1984 in Dallas, Texas. He was raised and lived most of his life in Cedar Hill but spent some time living and working in San Antonio as well. He loved the beach and traveled whenever he could to the coast to fish and swim. Port Aransas was an especial favorite of his.
Samuel had a passion for music and drawing and was an accomplished pianist and artist. He never missed a Cowboys game and enjoyed spending time with his friends and loved ones. He was an avid gamer who loved his cats. Samuel had a giving and loving heart and he will be missed beyond measure by all who knew him. Although his time with us was short, it was in no way ordinary and he will not be forgotten.
There will be a small service for immediate family members only. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to either the Cedar Hill Food Pantry (https://cedarhillshares.org/) or the Tri City Animal Shelter (http://www.cedarhilltx.com/66/Animal-Shelter).
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” John 14:1-3
