Silvino Silva Cerejo's Obituary
Silvino da Silva Cerejo, age 98, of Garfield NJ passed away January 10th 2022 surrounded by his family in Wyckoff NJ.
Born in Porto Carro, Portugal, he lived there for 47 years before moving to the US with his family. He was the son of Antonio Cordeiro and Joaquina Carreira.
Silvino worked as a baker for many years and continued to bake as a hobby upon his retirement. He also enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Julia Dulce (nee Lopes), his three children Maria Cerejo, Jose Cerejo and Carla Petracca and husband Francesco, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A mass will be held on Friday, January 14th, 2022 at 10:45 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Newark.
