Virginia Rose Sernack's Obituary
We are sad to announce the passing of our loving mother Virginia Rose Sernack on November 19th at the age of 95. She was surrounded by family at Valley Hospital, where she had been a volunteer years earlier. Ginny as her family and friends remember her as a vibrant participant in everything, she was involved with whether it was golfing or volunteering in the community or taking care of her grandchildren, she gave it her all! Ginny was the youngest of three children born to Florence & Frances Haskins of West New York, NJ on December 27, 1926. She met her husband George and was married on January 10,1954 and enjoyed a 65-year marriage before he passed. They owned a jewelry store in Ridgefield Park for 47 years before retiring. She is survived by sons, Gary-Stacey (wife) George- Nancy (wife) 3 grandchildren, Gary Robert, Andrew Joseph, Imran Daniel and 2 great grandchildren Lorelai & Charlie. We will celebrate her life with a private mass.
