Warren, G, 83, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023. Born in Kearny to the late Ernest and Mary Philburn. Predeceased by his daughter Christine Ann, sister Marion Hughes and brother Robert Philburn.
Survived by his beloved wife Marian L. Philburn (nee: Gadzinski). Loving father to Lori Guido and her husband Douglas, Kimberly Philburn and Michael Calvello, Lisa Duffy-Berenbroick and her husband William. Adoring grandfather to Brittany Condal and her husband Kevin, Sarah Duffy and Christopher Duffy. Cherished great-grandfather to Bria Madison Condal. Also survived by his loving nieces and nephews Nancy, Robert, Linda, Robert (deceased), Barry, Allen, Theresa, Brian (deceased), Jason and Janine. Loving sister-in-law Valerie Dallio and her husband Bernie.
Before retiring, Warren was co-owner of Butterworth’s Liquor and Deli in Hasbrouck Heights for over 50 years. He was very proud of his businesses, had a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. He loved to shoot pool with friends, spending summers at Long Beach Island, the New York Giants and traveling. But most of all, he loved his family dearly.
Funeral service at the Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Ave, Hasbrouck Heights on Thursday, May 25th at 10:00am. Interment following at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation Wednesday May 24th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
